ABOUT THE COACH

Meet your coach.

Meet your coach.

Meet your coach.

I’m a US National Master with over 15 years of playing experience and more than 3 years of coaching experience. Before coaching independently, I also worked with students at a chess school in Ukraine. I focus on helping students understand positions rather than simply memorize moves — so they can make better decisions when the game leaves familiar territory.

Turn recurring mistakes from your own games into specific training priorities, so each lesson builds on the last and your improvement follows a clear direction. Over time, we track recurring patterns, adjust the focus of your training, and build a structured plan around the areas that matter most.

What students notice after consistent coaching

What students notice after consistent coaching

I used to feel nervous playing against real people and mostly stuck to casual games. The lessons helped me understand what to focus on, and now I feel much more confident sitting down to play a full game.
